Long Term Contract - Wright Patterson AFB - Dayton, OH
BS/BA Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or 9 years experience
Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience maintaining system(s) in production environment
Experience in Government hosted facilities a plus
Must be willing to work other-than-regular business hours (night, weekends) as required
Must be self motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Secret or TS clearance, or ability to obtain with sponsorship
MUST HAVE DOD IAT Level 1 certification (A+, Network+ or SSCP).
Certification such as CNE or MCSE, or equivalent is desired and may become mandatory after hire.
Must have (or acquire within first 6 months of employment) at least one Microsoft ’MCTS’ certification in either Windows Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008
Strong working knowledge of Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 enterprise architecture.
Experience administering virtualization software (VM Ware or Hyper V) would be a plus.
Demonstrated ability to setup, configure and troubleshoot hardware on rack grade x86 servers (experience with Dell hardware would be a plus)
Demonstrated skills for transferring knowledge to co-workers in team environment
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshooting both user and system accounts security and permission related issues
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain documented procedures for environment installations and maintenance |
