| Long description | VISUAL INFORMATION SUPPORT Provide support to leverage technology and enhance teaching and learning. This would provide an in-house capability to develop the graphic art for interactive multimedia courseware and manage the operations of our current learning management system as well as the future transition to a learning management (LMS) system. Provide graphics designer support with responsibility for graphical user interface design, report formatting layout, menu presentation, and sequencing the logical order of tasks completed in a web application environment. Plan, design, layout, and render artistic illustrations, technical illustrations, on-site and studio photography, charts, graphs, and text to communicate information about Agency mission-related activities. Author and disseminate multi-media presentations to various operating systems. Consult with clients and other project team members to design, build, and manage web graphics. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts. Color-coordinate web pages, incorporate graphics where appropriate and design the ’look and feel’ of an application. Advise program and management personnel on the use, options, and alternatives available. Participate in all applicable conferences, meetings or work group sessions at, for or sponsored by NDU.
